I'm an indie iOS developer, designing and building apps on my own, and right now I'm working through a backlog I've collected over the years – projects I nearly shipped but never quite finished.

I took an unusual route into software development. I started as a chemical engineer, then spent a few years in UI/UX design, working on apps across fintech and augmented reality. A couple of those apps have held the top spot in their App Store categories for years. After that, I worked at a chemistry startup in London, and over time I transitioned fully into software development and made mobile apps my full-time focus.

I'm based in Edinburgh, Scotland, but currently on the other side of the Atlantic, travelling around Canada and working from wherever I happen to land.
