About Aran

Aran is developed by Aleksandra Komagorkina ("Developer"). By using the app, you agree to these terms.

What the App Does

Aran is a bread-baking planner that runs entirely on your device. It stores your recipes, sourdough cultures, bake schedules, and notes, and can add bake steps to your Calendar and Reminders.

Data Collection

We do not collect personal data. Your recipes, cultures, schedules, and notes are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to any server.

• Recipes, cultures, bake plans, and journal notes are stored locally on your device
• No analytics, advertising, or tracking is used
• No account creation is required

Permissions

• Calendar – used only to add bake milestones you choose to export. Aran writes the events you create and does not read your existing calendar.
• Reminders – used only to add upcoming bake steps you choose to export. Aran writes the reminders you create and does not read your existing lists.
• Notifications (optional) – used to remind you of the next step in an active bake. These are scheduled on your device.

You can grant or revoke any of these in your device Settings at any time.

Third-Party Services

• Apple handles app distribution and payments, and provides Calendar and Reminders. See Apple's Privacy Policy.
• RevenueCat manages in-app purchases. They receive anonymous transaction data from Apple. See RevenueCat Privacy Policy.

In-App Purchases

Premium features are available as a purchase through the App Store. Payments are processed by Apple. The Developer does not receive your payment details. Manage purchases and subscriptions in your device Settings.

Contact hi@aleksandra.tech for support. If you email us, we'll see your email address and message to respond. Support correspondence is deleted upon request.

Children

Aran is not intended for children under 13.

Disclaimer

The app is provided "as is" without warranty. Baking times and temperatures are estimates – always use your own judgment and follow safe food-handling practices. The Developer is not liable for any damages arising from use of the app.

Changes

These terms may be updated. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
